Vous aimez la rueda ! vous voudriez pouvoir la danser partout où vous irez! à 2, 3, 5, 10 couples, voire plus ! et même plus encore !!!!. Chaque dernier mardi de chaque mois (en février le 21) venez nous rejoindre, afin de vous familiariser avec les figures, les noms, les autres danseurs. Ce rendez vous s’adresse à tous ceux qui savent danser la salsa !. Cubaine bien évidemment mais aussi au fana de L.A., Porto, N.Y. styles. L’important et de danser la rueda en respectant ses codes, afin de pouvoir jouir de cela partout on vous danserez.

Los Van Van will arrive with new vocalist Mandy Cantero to replace Mayito Rivera, who left the band in September to focus on his solo career. Armando “Mandy” Cantero is one of the shinning stars that have been part of ensembles such as Pupy y los que Son Son or Charanga Forever. Mandy began to stand out by himself, and started to take his rightful place amongst the already well-established Cuban singers.

“Klimax Para el Mundo” es el resumen de la magnífica calidad de sonido que ha logrado esta orquesta y del respeto extraordinario y aprecio que se ha ganado de los músicos cubanos y de todo el mundo. Giraldo Piloto, probablemente el mejor baterista cubano de toda la historia, es hijo del homónimo Giraldo Piloto, compositor renombrado sobre todo en la pareja Piloto-Vera.
Gracias a toda una vida dedicada a esta pasión que lo afectó desde cuando era muy joven y a un talento ecléctico y experimental, Giraldo Piloto ha podido marcar su orquesta con una huella musical única y muy particular. El sonido de Klimax, de hecho, es la fusión de toda la música popular bailable, donde se mezclan salsa, timba, rumba, son montuno, música Yoruba y chà chà chà con el Jazz (de que Piloto es gran intérprete) y corrientes más generalizadas de la musica internacional como pop y rock.
Esta original y estupenda síntesis musical esta contenida en el Álbum, absolutamente de prevalencia Timbera (con dos grandes temas de Jazz y una balada) y embellecida por los solos del mítico Chucho Valdés, de Pupy Cesar Pedroso y del mismo Piloto a la batería.

The Grammy winner award Los Van Van have recorded a new album titled as “La Maquinaria,” which compiles together versions of memorable songs by the popular cuban band, and it’s recorded at Egrem’s studios.
Predominating in the songs on “La Maquinaria” is a “picaresque” tone and the repeating refrains, a style created by Juan Formell that has given the Cuban salsa band a distinctive sound since it was founded more than 40 years ago.
The cover art of the new album will be illustrated by the famous Cuban artist Alexis Díaz KCHO, The notes of the album will be written by Juan Formell, who has expressed no doubts that La Maquinaria ( “The machine” ) is a great project.

Villa Vanthilt wijdde er zelfs zijn uitzending aan op zondagavond met als titel “Kortrijk goes Rio”. SalsAzucar zorgde voor animatie op het schouwburgplein met initiaties Salsa, Merengue en Chacha.
